Here’s how you do this in order:

1. Your first go can be by using a plunger this will often work unless it’s a tougher clog.
2. To use the snake lower it slowly into the drain then use the crank feature to maneuver deeper into the drain. As the coil meets the clog it will help break it up so you can pull it out.
3. Remove debris from the snake and then run water to make sure the drain has a clear pathway for the water to move through.
